1. Introduction Earth is covered with around 71% of the water. Still, the biggest challenge is to provide the fresh and pure water due to the fact that out of 71%, oceans hold the percentage of around 96.5 of all Earth’s water. Ocean water cannot be used for the drinking purpose which makes the availability of the pure water crucial. Water is one of the most crucial elements in our day to day life. Increasing population and depletion of water resources poses a serious threat to the current life and even bigger threat towards the sustainability development. In addition, severe increase in the pollution from various sources such as dumping of sewage waste, Agriculture pollution, oil leakage, oil dumping in water resources, mixing of radioactive substances and many more. 1.1 Aims and Objective Paper aims to work on the efficient and different methodologies to create usable water from the percentage of water which is either a waste or cannot be used directly for the daily chorus. Objective of the study is to reduce the salinity of the saline and waste water by increasing the efficiency of our distillation and water treatment processes. 1.2 Objectives of Study Objectives of the study are mentioned as follows:- • To compare the results of the various water treatment processes. • To find the increase in the percentage of efficiency from the effect of shading and evaporative cooling of glass cover on the performance of evacuated tube-augmented dual sloped solar still. 1.3 Research Question Effect of shading and evaporative cooling of glass cover on the performance of evacuated tube-augmented dual sloped solar still.
