Vision is in the process of preparing copyright applications for a variety of works that it will offer its guests, including maps of the locales near its hotels, a game developed for sale in the hotel gift shops, and a new advertising jingle, now entitled “InVision It” but originally entitled “VisionNext.” Additionally, Vision has learned that one of its chief competitors is building a variety of new hotels, and Vision would like to view the architectural plans and any models or other deposits on file with the Copyright Office. Finally, Vision’s creative team is developing certain photographs to be used in a commercial advertising campaign, and Vision has learned that an employee “leaked” the photos to a competitor, and the competitor plans to publish the photographs.
