I’m studying and need help with a History question to help me learn.

Review the module resources and consider how Marco Polo learned about the East and what the Eastern cultures learned about the West through his visit. How did traders and merchants influence the spread of ideas from Japan through the Middle East, and into Africa? In your primary thread, use the journey of Marco Polo as a case study of how trade routes allow for the long-distance exchange of ideas. You will find his story in your textbook on pages 279-283 of Volume 1. Your post should have two parts: one discussing the importance of exchanging trade and ideas, and one about the influence of Marco Polo himself.
