Need help with my Management question – I’m studying for my class.
Respond to each of the following in a minimum of 175 words:
- Describe an example where theory of constraints (TOC) was successfully applied to improve a process, or where you saw the potential for TOC to improve the process, in either a company you worked for or a company you were a customer at.
- Through applications of lean principles of streamlining flows and only performing work as it is needed, these wastes can be reduced and possibly eliminated. Does your organization practice lean principals?
- Do the bottlenecks on the line seem to be the same ones in the same place or does something new come up each time? I am wonder about a long term fix or is it impacted by who is working each station?
